Fitzsimmons Properties is a family-run residential property investment and development business. We acquire homes across Victoria, carry out renovation and value-add works, and hold or resell the improved property.
Our services
We identify and purchase residential property in Victoria — typically homes that are underperforming, dated, or poorly presented, where considered work can materially improve the asset.
We plan and manage the improvement works: renovation, repair, reconfiguration and presentation. We engage licensed builders, trades and consultants, and manage the project through to completion.
On completion, each property is either sold, or retained and let as a long-term residential investment. The decision is made project by project on its merits.
We manage our own residential holdings, including tenanted investment property, and oversee the maintenance, compliance and performance of those assets.
How projects are funded
Individual property projects are funded from our own capital and, on some projects, alongside private co-investors — people who contribute capital to a specific project in return for an agreed share of that project's return.
These arrangements are documented project by project. Each one sits behind a single property, and relates only to our own developments.
To be clear about what we are not. Fitzsimmons Properties does not provide financial services, lending, broking or money-transfer services to third parties. We are a property business. Co-investment relates solely to our own property projects.
About us
Fitzsimmons Properties Pty Ltd is directed by Tony and Angela Fitzsimmons. It is a family business in the ordinary sense of the phrase — the people who own it are the people who run it, and the decisions are made at the kitchen table before they are made anywhere else.
We work in the housing stock we know: Geelong and regional Victoria, where the streets are full of good homes that have been left too long. Our interest is in the ones worth saving.
We take on a small number of projects at a time and see each one through properly. We would rather do fewer projects well than many badly.
We work with local builders, trades, agents and consultants, and we pay them on time.
